Paul began his musical journey on piano at an early age. In middle school he joined the band as a percussionist and electric bass soon followed. Paul went on to study piano, bass, percussion, composition, and jazz at the University of Indianapolis graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Music in Performance with a concentration in theory and composition. 

As a performer Paul has played with symphony orchestras, concert bands, jazz, rock, folk and blues bands. As an educator Paul has 20 years of experience working with orchestras, marching bands, concert bands, and jazz ensembles. Paul’s unique, personalized approach to private lessons has helped his students achieve placements in All-State groups, honor bands, and music schools throughout the country. Additionally, Paul has integrated audio, video, and music technology to create an immersive virtual learning experience. Paul shares his passion for music and wealth of experience with his students recognizing that all forms of music have the power to connect and inspire people.
